Important Announcement

Important announcement:
It is with immense pride, gratitude and appreciation that we thank each and every one of our amazing team members (past and present), business partners, suppliers, supporters and most importantly our wonderful customers for the last five years of business.
We have seen the vegan food industry grow beyond our dreams in those years and as vegans and consumers, this has been amazing to watch as veganism becomes mainstream. As a small independent business though, this has come with its own challenges. As vegan food has become readily available, our niche has been lost. As large multinational corporations have joined the vegan bandwagon we can no longer compete with their buying power, prices, R&D and advertising budgets. There has also been a heavy personal toll on our family life and work/life balance which we wish to reclaim.
This has resulted in it becoming unsustainable for us to continue as a business and as a result, we have made the very difficult decision to close The Vegan Grindhouse. We don’t regret a single moment of the journey and we are thrilled that veganism has become so popular because the animals don’t care where you buy your vegan food from as long as you are not eating them! We think of this as the start of a new journey rather the end of one.
Special thanks to Twisted Barrel for sticking with us and supporting us throughout the years, we have made friends for life. Our last event was 9th February 2019 at Twisted Barrel Brewery and Tap House Andy and Lisa. TVGx

We are back at Twisted Barel Ale this Friday (1st Feb)! We are excited to be back in our second home and hope that you will join us too! We will have a new menu that will fit the location better and tailored more for indoor dining.
