New year, new events, birthdays, awards and new set up!

The month of May is not usually a time you think about a new year but here at The Vegan Grindhouse, we started serving our first customers on May 2nd 2014. So today is our 3rd Birthday!

We have recently been announced as the Runner Up at the What's On Readers' Awards 2017 in the Best Street Food Vendor Category. We were up against some tough competition and all of the other finalists on the short list sold mainstream food types, so we were very humbled and surprised to rank so highly. Thanks to all of you who voted for us.

We are super excited to announce that we are hosting three all vegan street food festivals this year in partnership with Kings Heath BID at the Kings Heath Village Square on:

Sunday 21st May

Sunday 16th July

Sunday 17th September

We will be running the events from 12-5pm. More details to follow soon. Proceeds from the event will be going to support Grace's Rest - an exotic animal rescue service based in the Midlands.

And finally, as you can see from our picture above, our lovely custom gazebo roof has arrived and making sure we stand out at every event - we love it. As part of our new set up, as well as being in our new gazebo, we have streamlined our ordering process and menu so that you get your food quicker and we have less waste, which is a win win. 

We can't wait to start our 4th year together with all of our loyal customers, we couldn't do it without you!

Where to find us this week w/c 7/7/14

This week you can find our cakes and baked goods at The Meeting Room in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent and our fudge and merchandise at 100% Vegan Shop in Digbeth, Birmingham.

Our street food stall will be making it's debut at Brum Yum Yum's Kings Heath event on Saturday 12th July and we will also be part of Solihull Garden Festival in Mell Square on Sunday 13th July.

Middlewich - we loved you!

Last weekend we spend a crazy few days serving gourmet vegan street food to the lovely people of Middlewich at the Annual Middlewich Folk & Boat Festival. The weather was great, the musicians, dancers and visitors were lovely and we sold out! We had a fantastic time and can't wait for next year! Thank you Middlewich for making us feel so welcome and loved. :-)

Where to find us this week w/c 9/6/14

This week we will be dropping a huge cake delivery off at The Meeting Room in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent (41, Piccadilly) on Wednesday so if you live or work in Stoke, pop in and ask for a lovely vegan cake. There will be cupcakes and layer cakes galore!

If that wasn't enough, we will be at the Middlewich Folk & Boat Festival, Middlewich all next weekend selling gourmet vegan streetfood, shakes, ice-creams, drinks and cakes. It is a free festival with free parking, music, boats, stalls, food and hopefully lots of sunshine! Please come and see us, a perfect way to spend Father's Day on Sunday with your Dad, Granddad or child.
